Overview

Since our founding in 1974, the mission of Gannett Welsh & Kotler has been to help our clients achieve their investment objectives through the management of thoughtfully conceived and consistently applied investment strategies.  Our company has grown from a local provider of investment management services for a select group of families to a nationally known and respected investment manager with broad investment expertise.  We provide a range of municipal bond, taxable bond and equity strategies that are all actively managed and rely on bottom-up research.  We believe that building portfolios of the best ideas is best accomplished through a team management approach and in-depth fundamental research.

Philosophy

The guiding principles on which our firm was founded still define our investment approach today and have contributed to our long-term success. We place great value on understanding and serving our clients’ individual needs, and apply this thoughtful, client-oriented approach to managing each portfolio.  We maintain a focused objective for our investment strategies and adhere to a disciplined decision-making process.  We apply rigorous research and analysis to uncover opportunities and limit risk.  Remaining steadfast to these principles, we will continue to help clients achieve their investment objectives.
