Equity Research Analyst Intern

BNY Mellon Asset Management often offers first-year graduate students an opportunity to intern at The Boston Company Asset Management (TBCAM) conducting fundamental equity research on one of TBCAM’s many strategy teams. Strategy teams range from small/mid cap growth to international core to large cap value to core research. Interns will work alongside some of the top portfolio managers and analysts in the industry. TBCAM offers a bottom-up approach to stock selection that focuses on fundamental research in a process-driven environment. Positions are based in Boston. Generally, we hire individuals who possess at a minimum:

- 3-5 years of investment experience or relevant business experience
- Demonstrated analytical and academic track record; Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to self direct and set priorities under tight deadlines
- A high level of initiative and enthusiasm about markets and investing
- Computer skills; accounting knowledge and analysis
- Strict attention to detail; Team player

Fixed Income Research Analyst Intern

BNY Mellon Asset Management often offers first-year graduate students an opportunity to intern at Standish Mellon Asset Management (Standish) conducting quantitative and/or fundamental fixed income research on one of Standish’s many strategy teams or project areas. Strategy teams range from core bond to long duration indexing to cash management. Recent projects have involved researching and analyzing new alternative investments.

Interns will work alongside some of the top portfolio managers and analysts in the industry. Standish is a leading investment management firm dedicated to serving sophisticated fixed income investors. The firm’s investment strategies span the wide range of fixed income disciplines and are complemented by a demonstrated ability to design innovative, effective solutions to satisfy client needs. The ideal MBA intern candidate will possess strong quantitative skills in statistics, econometrics and stochastic calculus.
