Steven Lipiner
Chief Financial Officer
Steve joined Mellon Financial Corporation in 2002 as Chief Financial Officer of Mellon Asset Management. As CFO for BNY Mellon Investment Management, Steve is responsible for the overall financial management of all investment management boutiques in addition to Dreyfus Mutual Funds and BNY Mellon Asset Management International. From 2005-2007, Steve also served as CFO for Mellon International, based in London.
Prior to Mellon, Steven was with BankBoston / Fleet Bank from 1990 – 2002 serving in a variety of finance and operations positions. Most recently (1999 – 2002), he was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for the European businesses of Fleet Bank based in London.
Steve earned an M.B.A. in finance from City University of New York at Baruch College, and a B.A. degree in political science from State University of New York at Buffalo. Steve is a member of the Board of Directors for Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program.
