Scott E. Wennerholm
Chief Operating Officer
Scott joined BNY Mellon Asset Management as Chief Operating Officer in September 2005. In this role he is responsible for shared operations, compliance and risk management oversight, technology development and operation strategy for this multi-boutique global asset management organization.
Scott brings over twenty-five years experience in the financial services industry, most recently as the Chief Operating Officer for CDC Ixis Asset Management Advisors Group, the distribution arm for this multi-manager firm (now known as NATIXIS). During his seven-year tenure there, Scott was responsible for its finance, operations and risk management functions as well as directed efforts in product development, retirement marketing and strategic planning. Prior to Natixis, Scott served three years at Fidelity Investments Institutional Services (FIIS) with roles in strategic planning, sales planning, and financial management including the position of CFO for a major technology acquisition at Fidelity. In addition to these positions, Scott has experience in retail mutual funds distribution, financial services consulting, commercial banking and life insurance sales dating back to 1982.
Scott earned an MBA from Boston University and B.A. degrees in Business Administration and in Philosophy from Furman University in South Carolina.
