Jeff Landau

Jeff Landau is the Chief Executive Officer of Cash Investment Strategies, the BNY Mellon Asset Management unit responsible for all of the Company's short term investment products, including the Dreyfus 2a-7 money market funds, the offshore money market funds, the securities lending cash collateral portfolios for Asset Servicing clients, collective/commingled funds, and short duration separate accounts. Cash Investment Strategies has approximately $600B of total assets under management, making BNY Mellon one of the largest cash investment managers globally.

Prior to assuming his current position, Mr. Landau served as Executive Vice President and Treasurer of the Company, from June 2005 through December 2009. In this capacity, Mr. Landau had responsibility for the Company's investment portfolio and balance sheet, asset & liability management, liquidity management, our positions with the Federal Reserve, interaction with regulators with respect to liquidity matters, debt and equity issuance, and oversight of deposit pricing. In addition the Liquidity Services money fund business reported to Mr. Landau from July 2007 through December 2009.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Landau was part of the senior team responsible for establishing the Company's investment banking subsidiary, BNYM Capital Markets, and managed or co-managed the syndicated lending, debt capital markets, and sponsor leveraged lending groups. He joined the Company in 1986 as a management trainee at the Irving Trust Company, which subsequently merged with The Bank of New York.

From 2000 through 2009, Mr. Landau served as Treasurer, and member of the Executive Committee and Board, of DOROT (a New York City charitable organization dedicated to providing food and services to the elderly). He currently serves as a member of the Audit and Investment Committees of the Solomon Schechter Day School of Essex & Union. Mr. Landau holds a BA from the University of Virginia, and an MBA from Columbia University.
